Dear Friends,

In October of 2024, I will be leading a tour to follow in the footsteps of the apostle Paul to Greece and part of Turkey, and I’d like to invite you to join me! This exciting tour offers the opportunity to explore this beautiful part of the world and learn more about the apostle Paul, the greatest evangelist the church has ever known.

This journey will be a wonderful education, and you will learn a great deal. But it is difficult to convey how much the trip will also transform your life spiritually as you stand on the stones of the first-century churches of Philippi, Thessaloniki, Berea, Athens, Corinth, and Ephesus. You will explore the great sites of Classical and Hellenistic Greece. You will gather in the Holy Grotto of the Revelation and catch a glimpse of John’s vision into heaven while on the sun-drenched Island of Patmos. The pivotal events of the early church and the writing of the New Testament will come alive as never before as you study the Scriptures in their original settings.

For me, a great motivator for this trip is the opportunity to share life together as we learn more about the Gospel by exploring these important places in our history. We will form new friendships and grow in those already established. We will see the creative nature of God revealed and we will do that together. I cannot wait to see how God will use this time for His good purpose.

Leading our tour will be Dr. Jeff Cramer and Kleanthis Iliadis. Jeff’s insights into how the first century context shaped Paul’s Gospel message will encourage and enlighten you, as he relates the message of Paul to today’s world. His years of teaching will draw you into a world of experiential learning. Kleanthis, a native of Berea, has an insider’s view, taking you off the beaten path to provide an unusually rich experience of Greek foods and culture.

You will see and experience more than you can imagine in this enchanting land of beauty and history. You will gain a fresh perspective on the Bible and a renewed appreciation for the mission, message, and ministry of the Apostle Paul.
