Dear First Pres Friends,

Abigail and I are hosting a First Pres trip to Israel on April 2 - 12, 2024 and would love to have you join us! We will walk in the footsteps of the great prophets of the Old Testament, the disciples from the shores of Galilee, and Jesus during his days of ministry. 

Imagine traveling the coastal road to Caesarea, sailing across the Sea of Galilee, hearing the Beatitudes read from the place Jesus first spoke them, visiting Bethlehem, the town of our Lord’s birth, and the Holy City of Jerusalem!  In Jerusalem, we will visit the Temple Steps where Jesus taught the crowds, the Mt. of Olives where He knelt in prayer, Golgotha where He was crucified, and the Garden Tomb where He was raised to defeat of sin and death.  During our journey, you will have the opportunity to renew your baptismal vows while visiting the banks of the Jordan River, follow the path of Jesus on the Via Dolorosa, and celebrate Communion by the empty tomb.

Not only will we explore many of the places mentioned in the Old Testament and the Gospels, we will come to appreciate the modern nation of Israel, its rich cultural heritage and its unique blend of Mediterranean and Middle Eastern cultures.
