Elizabeth and I, along with Paul and Monika, can’t wait for you to join us as we visit some of our favorite islands and seaside settings of Greece on this one-of-a-kind experience. On our pilgrimage, we will enjoy a relaxed pace, take time to soak up the spectacular landscapes, and experience the Greek way of life. We’ve chosen our three locales for their particular charm. Wander the neoclassical streets of beautiful Nafplio that combine Greek and Venetian flavors. It's surrounded by vineyards, with varieties dating back to the classical era. Get off the beaten path in the picturesque, car-free, laid-back isle of Hydra. Of course, no tour of Greece is complete without a stop at the majestic Parthenon in Athens. Finally, enjoy the resort island of Mykonos, the most famous of all Greek islands. We are sure you will love its whitewashed houses, exquisite beaches, and deliciously fresh seafood from the Aegean Sea!
Elizabeth will delight us with excellent culinary selections. Fr. Paul and I will offer spiritual reflections, tapping into a few of the early Church Fathers. We’ll also take time to dance to bouzouki music while basking in the glow of Aegean sunsets and enjoy a barbeque of freshly caught seafood. Aboard our private boat, we will swim in a secluded cove. We'll sample the wines of Nemea, the Tuscany of Greece. And yes, we will tour a few archaeological sites (it is Greece, after all), including Epidaurus, Mycenae (think Trojan War), the Parthenon, and Corinth.
