Dear Westmont Friends,
I want to invite you to participate in a very special trip to Israel, to walk where Jesus walked, and join me and your Westmont friends on a journey that is sure to be memorable. If you have never been to Israel, come discover this inspiring and biblically rich land for yourself. If you have been before, you know that Israel, especially Jerusalem, calls you back.
Imagine traveling the coastal road to Caesarea, sailing across the Sea of Galilee, hearing the beatitudes anew from the place Jesus spoke the words, visiting the town of our Lord’s birth and remembering your baptismal vows while visiting the banks of the Jordan River. As we travel, we will explore many of the places mentioned in the Old Testament and the Gospels, and we will come to appreciate the modern nation of Israel, its rich cultural heritage and its unique blend of Mediterranean and Middle Eastern cuisine.
Joining us on our trip will be President Beebe, his wife, Pam, and their three children. They are wonderful travel companions, active participants and look forward to getting to know you! Our tour will be managed and led by David and Elizabeth Sparks of Footstep Ministries. Rev. Dr. David and Elizabeth Iliadou Sparks have conducted more than 100 tours to Israel, Italy, Greece and Turkey. This will be our second trip led by the Sparks and I am confident they will lead with expertise, warmth, good humor and attention to detail as they have in the past.
Our trips are designed to be educational, inspirational and filled with great fellowship. Please consider joining us on this exciting excursion. We would love for you to be part of this transformational journey.
