June 9 - 20, 2016

I want to personally invite you to join Taylor University alumni, parents, and friends next summer, June 9-20, 2016, as we tour Greece and follow in the footsteps of the Apostle Paul.
This special tour offers you the opportunity to explore this beautiful country and learn more about Paul, the greatest missionary and evangelist the Church has ever known. We have partnered with Footstep Ministries to offer this extraordinary travel opportunity to our alumni, parents, and friends.
Your journey will be educational, but it is difficult to convey how the trip will enrich your spirit as you stand on the stones of the first-century churches of Philippi, Thessaloniki, Berea, Athens, Corinth, and Ephesus. You will explore the great sites of Classical and Hellenistic Greece. And you will gather in the Holy Grotto of the Revelation, catching a glimpse of John’s vision into heaven while on the sun-drenched Island of Patmos. The pivotal events of the early church will come alive as you explore the Scriptures in their original settings.
Leading our tour will be Dr. David Sparks and his wife, Elizabeth Iliadou Sparks. Since 1989 the Sparks have lead over 1,000 Taylor students to Greece during their January study abroad program. David also serves as an adjunct faculty member for Taylor. His insights into how the first-century context shaped Paul’s Gospel message will encourage and enlighten you, as he relates the message of Paul to today’s world. Elizabeth, a native of Greece, has an insider’s view, taking you off the beaten path to provide an unusually rich experience of Greek foods and culture.
You will experience more than you can imagine in this enchanting land of beauty and history. More importantly, you will gain a fresh perspective on the Scriptures and a renewed appreciation for the mission, message, and ministry of the Apostle Paul. It will also give you the opportunity to connect with Taylor University faculty, staff, alumni, parents, and friends in this unique experience. I hope you will join us for this remarkable travel opportunity.
Space is limited, so make your reservations soon!
