Following the Footsteps of the Apostle Paul
12 Day Greece Tour
Including a 3 Day Cruise of the Greek Isles
September 20 - October 1, 2018
$3,575 Land & Cruise Only
Dear Bent Tree family,
I would like to invite you to join me for an unforgettable 12-day pilgrimage to Greece, from Sept. 20 – Oct. 1, 2018. Together we will retrace the footsteps of the Apostle Paul and be immersed in the rich history and culture of the early Christian church.
During our time in Greece, we will tour cities familiar to us from the biblical accounts of Paul's ministry, such as Thessaloniki, Philippi, Ephesus and Corinth. As we tour these sites and walk in the very places where Paul ministered to the early church, the Bible will come alive to us. As a result of this experience, we will grow in our faith and gain a richer understanding of the New Testament.
In addition to exploring the historical land of Greece, we will spend 3 days cruising the Aegean Sea and beautiful seaside port towns of the Mediterranean. By both land and sea, we'll delve more deeply into the historical and modern culture of Greece through its beautiful scenery, delicious cuisine, and warm-hearted people.
Our tour will be arranged by Footstep Ministries under the experienced leadership of the Rev. Dr. David and Elizabeth Sparks. Dr. Sparks has conducted more than 100 tours to Greece, Italy, Israel and Turkey. In his teaching sessions, David uniquely weaves together the Apostle Paul's ministry, Greco-Roman culture, and early church history. Elizabeth Iliadou Sparks was born in Greece, and is a native born Berean. Elizabeth will show us her homeland as only a native can do.
Pastor Michelle Attar and I are delighted to be hosting this first-ever Bent Tree pilgrimage to Greece. It would be an honor to walk with you in the very footsteps of the Apostle Paul, and see the very locations where he ministered the gospel of Christ to countless people seeking to know God.
We hope you consider joining us for this unforgettable journey that will deepen your walk in grace as a disciple of Jesus Christ.
Grateful for you,
Carrollton Campus pastor
